In 1979, a famous British photographer named Brian Duffy walked into his studio and found there to be no toilet paper. His response was only somewhat extreme: he promptly set fire to his entire collection of negatives and slides, renounced the vocation for good and then slipped into obscurity. npr
After that he took no photograph for the next 30 years.
Brian Duffy died 31. May 2010.

Two months later fourteen photographers from the bankcrupt photo agency have pulled their resources together to found the Black Archives brand. Now additionally LUZphoto Agency has been launched in Italy by former employees.
